Terms & Conditions

The Personal Stylist Academy

Effective Date: 1 July 2026

Welcome to The Personal Stylist Academy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your enrolment in and participation in any training programme, workshop, course, event, or related service provided by The Personal Stylist Academy and Julia Rose Styling Ltd ("the Academy", "we", "our", or "us").

By enrolling in any Academy programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Enrolment & Participation

A place on the Academy is confirmed only once your application has been accepted and payment has been received in accordance with your chosen payment option.

Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students are expected to participate fully in all training sessions, practical exercises, assignments, and assessments associated with the programme.

The Academy reserves the right to refuse or terminate enrolment where a student's conduct is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or inconsistent with the values of the Academy.

2. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

All course fees must be paid in full before attendance unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.

Where a payment plan is offered, students agree to make all payments on the agreed dates. Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of participation in the programme.

Places on The Personal Stylist Academy programmes are limited and reserved specifically for each student upon enrolment. For this reason, all payments made are non-refundable.

If a student chooses to cancel their place, withdraw from the programme, fail to attend, or leave before completion, no refund will be provided.

Students who enrol using a payment plan remain responsible for the full course fee regardless of attendance or completion.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

3. Missed Training & Non-Attendance

Students are responsible for attending all scheduled training sessions and completing any required coursework within the specified timeframes.

If a student is unable to attend due to illness, travel disruption, personal circumstances, or any other reason, no refund will be provided.

At its sole discretion, the Academy may offer the opportunity to join a future cohort, subject to availability. This is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

4. Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, training manuals, templates, exercises, downloads, videos, frameworks, branding, and Academy content remain the intellectual property of Julia Rose Styling Ltd and The Personal Stylist Academy.

Students may use the knowledge and skills gained through the programme within their own personal styling business or employment.

Students may not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, teach, sell, licence, publish, or otherwise exploit any Academy materials without prior written permission.

5. Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards instructors, guest speakers, venue staff, and fellow students at all times.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour, disruptive conduct, or any behaviour that negatively impacts the learning environment will not be tolerated.

The Academy reserves the right to remove any student from the programme without refund where such behaviour occurs.

6. Certification

Upon successful completion of all required modules, assignments, assessments, and practical elements of the programme, students will receive a Certificate of Completion from The Personal Stylist Academy.

The certificate confirms successful completion of the Academy's training programme and demonstration of satisfactory understanding of the course content.

The certificate is not a government-regulated qualification, professional licence, or accredited industry certification.

Completion of the programme does not guarantee employment, client acquisition, business success, or financial results.

7. Results Disclaimer

The Academy provides education, guidance, training, and business insights designed to support students in developing personal styling skills and building a styling business.

Individual results will vary depending on experience, effort, market conditions, business activity, and personal circumstances.

The Academy makes no guarantees regarding earnings, business performance, client numbers, employment opportunities, or future success.

8. Technology & Equipment

Students are responsible for providing any personal equipment, devices, internet access, software, or materials required to complete assignments or coursework outside of scheduled training sessions.

9. Academy Changes & Force Majeure

The Academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course content, programme structure, trainers, venues, schedules, or delivery methods where necessary.

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, venue closure, severe weather, travel disruption, government restrictions, technical failures, or other unforeseen events, the Academy may postpone, reschedule, or amend the programme.

Where possible, students will be offered alternative arrangements or a place on a future cohort.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Personal Stylist Academy and Julia Rose Styling Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special losses arising from participation in the programme.

Our total liability in connection with the programme shall not exceed the amount paid by the student for the programme.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Privacy

Personal information provided during enrolment and participation will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

We will not sell or share personal information with third parties without consent unless required by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
